Every client at Harrogate Hair Restoration begins with a Cosmetic Scalp Analysis. Using professional trichoscopy, we examine your scalp in detail — assessing hair density, sebum levels, scalp condition, follicle appearance, and overall scalp health.
Our findings are observational and descriptive, providing a clear picture of your scalp environment to guide your personalised scalp care plan. Nothing is recommended before we understand your scalp properly.
This is the starting point for every client. The £50 founding client fee is deducted in full from any treatment plan booked as a result.
Harrogate Scalp Wellness Score™ — The Harrogate Scalp Wellness Score™ is a proprietary assessment framework developed exclusively by Harrogate Hair Restoration — giving every client an objective, repeatable baseline measurement of their scalp health and hair density, tracked at every review.
Scalp hydradermabrasion delivers a deep follicular cleanse using controlled hydradermabrasion technology — removing sebum plugs, product buildup, and surface debris that accumulate at follicle level and can compromise scalp health over time.
The treatment creates an optimal scalp environment for subsequent active ingredients and in-clinic treatments to work more effectively. It is available as a standalone appointment, as a course, or as the opening step in every session of the Harrogate Density Programme™.
Add-ons are available for clients who want to enhance their standalone session — including ultrasonic serum infusion and cold hammer cryomodulation for a complete scalp wellness experience.
Every microneedling session at Harrogate Hair Restoration begins with an enzyme resurfacing preparation stage — removing scalp build-up, sebum plugs, and product residue to create an optimal treatment environment before needling begins. This elevates the entire protocol and ensures maximum active ingredient penetration.
The microneedling device then creates controlled micro-channels at cosmetic depth, stimulating the scalp's natural renewal response and significantly enhancing absorption of the active ingredient applied during treatment.
At Harrogate Hair Restoration, microneedling is available in three tiers. Each tier uses the same precision technique and device, with the difference being the active ingredient introduced to the scalp during treatment.
All microneedling is performed at cosmetic depth only. No injectable treatments are performed at Phase 1.

Consistency is key with LLLT — the best results come from regular sessions over time, which is why we offer it as a monthly block of four sessions.
