The clinic is founded and run by Pete, an NMC Registered Nurse with specialist training in trichology and scalp health treatments. Pete has personal experience of noticeable hair thinning, and while he's the first to say he doesn't know what that experience is like for a woman specifically, it's exactly what drives his commitment to proper, unhurried assessment for every client who walks through the door.

No treatment will be offered that Pete is not fully qualified and insured to perform.

Every client, regardless of who they are, deserves a proper assessment and honest advice rather than vague reassurance. That's the same standard of care behind every appointment at the clinic.

Yes. The clinic operates on an appointment-only basis, with steps in place to maximise your discretion. Your consultation and treatment take place in a private room, one-to-one.

Our current premises is shared with other independent practitioners, so you may see other visitors in communal areas such as the entrance or corridor — but your appointment itself is entirely private and confidential.

Yes. Harrogate Hair Restoration is currently pursuing further registration which will unlock a wider range of advanced clinical treatments later in 2026. Waitlist members and existing clients will be the first to hear when these become available.

Yes. All cosmetic procedures at Harrogate Hair Restoration are available to clients aged 18 and over only. We are unable to carry out any treatment on anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent.

There are many possible contributing factors, including hormonal changes (such as pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause), genetics, stress, nutritional factors, and underlying health conditions. It's rarely down to just one thing.

Our Cosmetic Scalp Analysis is observational and descriptive — it isn't a medical diagnosis. Where something may need medical investigation, such as a blood test or a GP referral, we'll always say so honestly rather than guess.

Every client begins with a Cosmetic Scalp Analysis. Using professional trichoscopy, we examine your scalp in detail — assessing hair density, sebum levels, scalp condition, and overall scalp health. Our findings are observational and descriptive.

Your score is taken at your initial Cosmetic Scalp Analysis and reassessed throughout your treatment journey, giving you a concrete measure of your progress over time.

Scalp microneedling uses a precision device to create micro-channels in the scalp at cosmetic depth. This stimulates the scalp's natural renewal response and significantly enhances the absorption of active ingredients applied during treatment.

Every session begins with an micellar scalp cleanse before needling. Available in four tiers — Entry (£120), Standard (£175), Premium (£275), and Elite (£375) — each using a named, evidence-based active. Standard uses Derma 2.0 Hair, Premium uses Calecim® Professional, and Elite uses Purasomes™ HSC50+. All microneedling is performed at cosmetic depth only and is minimally invasive.

The Harrogate Density Programme™ is our signature 12-week treatment protocol — the most comprehensive scalp health programme available at Phase 1. It combines seven treatment modalities every session — scalp hydradermabrasion, micellar scalp cleanse, ultrasonic infusion, microneedling, electroporation, cold hammer cryomodulation, and LLLT — into a single structured 12-week journey.

Your Harrogate Scalp Wellness Score™ is recorded at week 0 and reviewed at weeks 6 and 12 — giving you an objective, tracked measure of your progress throughout the programme.

Please let us know at the time of booking, and again during your consultation, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or think this may apply to you. Some treatments and products may not be appropriate in these circumstances, and we'll always assess this individually and honestly rather than assume.

Menopause-related thinning is common and can usually be assessed and treated as with any other cause, but we'll always talk this through with you directly during your consultation.

Founding client rates are the lowest prices, available exclusively to clients who join the waitlist and book before we open. These rates are locked in for the duration of Phase 1 and will increase as the clinic grows.

Yes — the £50 Cosmetic Scalp Analysis fee is deducted in full from any treatment plan booked as a result of your analysis.

A £50 deposit is required to secure all appointments. More than 48 hours notice is required to cancel and receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will result in the deposit being retained.
